The main duties and responsibilities of this role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the engineering functions under his control<\/li>\n<li>To ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the implementation of the \u201c Jumeirah Engineering Management System\u201d and the appointment of suitable competent personnel<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and direct the daily activities of all Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates<\/li>\n<li>Observe activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures<\/li>\n<li>Check on completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the implementation, co-ordination and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System).This will include the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM and Work Order Systems)<\/li>\n<li>Handle grievances, suggestions and complaints by colleagues and recommends appropriate action to Resident Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Submit a comprehensive monthly report to Resident Engineer on activities carried out for the month (if required)<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering department policies, processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications and Experience<\/h3>\n<p>The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in a supervisory role in a 5 star hotel experience<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical or Electrical diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with high volume and occupancy levels<\/li>\n<li>Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Benefits<\/h3>\n<p>This position offers a highly competitive
