Job Title: Shadow Teacher (Early Childhood Special Education Support)<\/p>\n
Location: Abu Dhabi (Muroor road)<\/p>\n
Position Overview:
\nWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to provide one\u2011to\u2011one support for our 3.5\u2011year\u2011old daughter. The ideal candidate will work closely with our family and the child\u2019s learning environment to ensure individualized educational support and holistic development, following ADEK guidelines and standards.<\/p>\n

Individualized Support:
\nProvide tailored, one\u2011to\u2011one assistance in academic, social, and developmental activities, ensuring that learning objectives as outlined by ADEK are met.<\/p>\n
Classroom & Home Collaboration:
\nWork collaboratively with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or equivalent, ensuring consistency between school and home settings.<\/p>\n
Developmental Monitoring:
\nObserve and document the child\u2019s progress in communication, motor skills, and social interaction, and provide feedback to educators and parents.<\/p>\n
Adapted Learning Strategies:
\nUtilize evidence\u2011based and ADEK\u2011approved teaching methodologies to support early childhood development, adapting techniques as needed to suit the child\u2019s learning pace and style.<\/p>\n
Behavioral Support:
\nAssist in managing and understanding behavioral cues, implementing positive reinforcement strategies in line with ADEK guidelines.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements:<\/p>\n
Educational Background:
\n* Bachelor\u2019s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a closely related field.
\n* Certification or accreditation recognized by ADEK is preferred.<\/p>\n

\n* Proven experience working with young children, preferably in a shadow teaching or special education setting.
\n* Familiarity with early childhood developmental milestones and intervention strategies.<\/p>\n
Skills & Attributes:
\n* Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
\n* Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong rapport with children and families.
\n* Knowledge of and commitment to upholding ADEK norms and early childhood educational standards.
\n* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic learning environments.<\/p>\n
