Job Scope
\nAs a Civil Engineer at Doveworth Limited, you will be involved in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. This includes working on infrastructure such as roads, bridges, water supply systems, and urban development. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions that meet client specifications while adhering to safety regulations and environmental considerations.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability.
\nPrepare detailed designs and technical specifications for civil engineering projects.
\nUtilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate drawings.
\nCollaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
\nOversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
\nMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
\nEnsure all work complies with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and health & safety regulations.
\nParticipate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
\nMentor junior engineers and support their professional development.<\/p>\n
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master\u2019s degree preferred.
\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design or construction management.
\nProficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other engineering tools (e.g., Civil 3D).
\nStrong understanding of structural analysis, materials science, soil mechanics, hydraulics, and environmental engineering principles.
\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
\nStrong analytical skills with attention to detail for problem-solving tasks.
\nAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.<\/p>\n
