Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – Champs Sports Club
Location: UAE
Experience: 6–7 years
Industry Preference: Sports clubs / Gyms / Fitness chains
Reporting to: Finance Manager / GM
المهام الأساسية:
– Handle full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets)
– Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS & variance analysis
– Manage revenue accounting (memberships, PT packages, court rentals, events)
– Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations & petty cash
– Ensure VAT compliance (returns, audits, documentation)
– Coordinate with auditors for internal & external audits
– Payroll accounting, accruals & provisions
– Ensure compliance with UAE accounting & tax regulations
– Support budgeting & forecasting for multiple branches (if applicable)
Mandatory Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
– 6–7 years UAE experience, preferably in sports / fitness / hospitality
– Strong knowledge of VAT in UAE
– Hands-on experience with accounting software
(Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Odoo – any)
– Advanced Excel skills
– Ability to work independently & meet deadlines
Preferred
– Experience handling multiple revenue streams
– Experience in club membership systems
– CMA / ACCA (partially or fully qualified) – added advantage
– Immediate or short notice period
