Job Summary
- The role is the focal point/representative of the Business Unit for generation of various reports and customer lists, in the absence of VP Sales.
- The job holder is responsible for activities in support of the regional sales/contract/marketing team.
- The role is coordination between the Sales Directors for all files that involve customer interface (Events, Briefing, global mailing lists, etc).
Main accountabilities
Sales Activities
- Actively support sales campaigns and be the interface with other departments involved.
- Support VP Sales, engine manufacturers when necessary, on the status of the activity within the Business Unit as and when necessary.
Commercial Support
- Be the alternative contact person for all airlines in the region.
- Provide marketing/commercial support to VP Sales and all business unit members (draft commercial letters, follow-up of internal and external mail in their absence (check actions/answers as appropriate).
- Represent the Business Unit at meetings (e.g. engine manufacturers, leasing).
- Assist in the follow-up of aircraft deliveries.
Activities of General Interest
- Prepare presentations (e.g. commercial symposium, leasing companies, and engine manufacturer) and make presentations, when necessary.
- Develop general knowledge of the region (work with the Marketing Division to develop airline briefings, market focus document).
- Participate in specific projects of general interest (budget, P.R. events, advertising, and demo).
- Contribute to the sales process through commercial support to VP/Salesmen/Contracts Directors.
- Provide timely and reliable commercial information.
- Coordinate and attend VIP customer visits to Toulouse, when necessary.
- Prepare internal reporting and contribute to general sales reporting to the management (e.g. monthly sales report, specific information on the commercial activities …).
- Maximize efficiency of the Business Unit, by closely following up Sales KPIs for the VP of Sales.
- Ensure timely update of VP Sales Management Dashboard.
The Jobholder must have the following behavioural, professional skills and experiences
- Fluency in English (written & spoken), other languages are a plus.
- Dynamic personality with ability to take initiatives.
- Engineering or Business Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and diplomacy with a strong understanding of Teamwork, Customer Focus and Reliability.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Ability to mix professionally and socially with senior Airline personnel.
